Statement Of Faith
WE BELIEVE the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of GOD (2 Tim. 3:16).
WE BELIEVE in the One True God whose name is JESUS, and who has revealed himself as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (John 1:1-4, 14; Ephesians 3:14, 15; 1 Timothy 3:16, 1 John 5:7).
WE BELIEVE that repentance and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ enables us to be counted as a justified believer in the sight of GOD.
WE BELIEVE that water baptism (submersion) in the Name of Jesus is commanded of every believer. (Matt. 28:19, Acts 2:38, Rom.6)
WE BELIEVE that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit is a necessary experience for rebirth in the Kingdom of God and for continued spiritual growth. We believe the physical phenomenon of speaking in other tongues evidences the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (acts 2:4, 10:44-48, Jude 20,21).
WE BELIEVE that it is essential that each believer study the Word of God and grow in grace and in the Knowledge of Jesus Christ. (2 Tim. 2:15, 1 Peter 1:2).
WE BELIEVE that we are One Body having many members and the basis of our relationship is in the Blood of Christ Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12, Ephesians 2:13-22, 4:3-6, Colossians 3:15).
WE BELIEVE that the tenth (tithe) of our financial income is Holy unto God (Malachi 3:8, Hebrews 7:4-10).
WE BELIEVE that all the Gifts of the Spirit should and must be operative in the church to enjoy the fullness of God. (Rom 12:6-8, 1 Cor 12, Ephesians 4:11).
WE BELIEVE in the doctrine of the laying on of hands for confirmation, ordination, impartation of gifts, and for the ministry of healing the sick (Acts 13:1-3, 1 Tim. 4:14, Mark 16:18).
WE BELIEVE in the ressurection of the righteous dead and in the translation of the living saints (rapture) when the Lord himself shall catch us up to meet him in the air (Corinthians 15:51-54, Thessalonians 4:13-17).
WE BELIEVE in the imminent, personal return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and in the restitution of all things spoken by the mouth of all true prophets since the world began (Acts 1:11, 3:19-21, Revelation 22:12).
WE BELIEVE that the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and adherence to the teachings of Jesus Christ and his Apostles is God’s absolute answer to all of man’s needs NOW – spiritually, socially, emotionally, economically,physically, and morally (Matt. 4:23, Luke 12:23-32).
